The P.G.D. in Process & Mechanical Design of Equipments is the program designed for Chemical Engineers. The need for the Process Design Engineering with Mechanical Design has been demanded by the prospective and existing process equipment professionals. This course will initiate engineers to prepare and develop equipment data sheet, sizing of process equipments, design them as per relevant codes, prepare fabrication details and specifications, estimation and quality assurance during fabrication and assembly.
This course will fulfill the following needs of the existing and prospective process equipment engineers;
* Documentation related to Process Equipment Technology, in form of course ware.
* Interaction with professionals on regular basis using internet technology.
* Case Analysis / Problem Solving Methodology
The course covers topics related to ASME CODES, Material of Construction, Basics of Pressure Vessel Design , Various theories related to pressure vessels, Different components of Pressure Vessel and their Mechanical design , Design Topics on Heat exchangers and TEMA application in heat exchanger design etc.

The P.G.D. in Process & Mechanical Design of Equipment’s is for 140 hrs and training is offered in Regular, Weekend, and Distance Education and online training program
