P.G.D in Process Design & Equipment Design Engineering is a program, in which candidates will be learning both Process Design (development of PFD and P&ID) & Sizing calculations of different Process Equipment (Static & Rotating). The Chemical Engineers or Process Engineers are playing a vital role in increasing the standards of plant engineering from past several decades. It is rightly said that Chemical Engineers are the Brain of process industry as they develop Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation diagram (P&ID), Sizing of different Static & Dynamic Process Equipments .
The technique of developing these important documents is vital for Chemical Engineers to establish themselves as Process Design Engineer. This course focuses on practical coverage of structured procedures using applicable design codes and calculation methodology.
